In the second match of the Arise Asia Cup, the hosts Bangladesh will face India tomorrow.
India is clearly the favourite side going into the match just because of their quality, but, Bangladesh is not a bad team especially when they play on their home grounds. So, the men in blue will have to make sure that they don’t give their opponents any sniff and make a winning start to the competition.
Virat Kohli will lead India in this tournament and it will be a big challenge for him. He has been given a very young side.
The first thing that Virat would like to do tomorrow is to win the toss because in Fatullah where the match is to be played, a lot of dew falls in the evening and that makes bowling extremely difficult.
So, if you lose the toss and you are asked to bat first, you are in trouble unless you score close to 350.
Although India has a destructive batting line up which is capable of scoring big, but, sill, they would like to bowl first.
A lot of eyes will be on India’s team composition as well. There have been a lot of people who believe that Cheteshwar Pujara should be included in the XI and he should open the innings with Shikhar Dhawan.
The Indian team management might make that move because Mahendra Singh Dhoni is not in the squad. So, nobody is there to give the innings a good finishing touch.
Since Rohit can hit big shots, he might be asked to bat a little lower probably at 6 and try to do what Dhoni has been doing for India since the last few years.
The match will start at 1.30 PM Indian Standard Time.
