Bhutan Cricket to starts Clubs Structure
Bhutan Cricket in order to promote cricket clubs in and around bhutan and strengthen the base today announce that the clubs three clubs which are in elite level to registered with Bhutan Cricket Board in a meeting held tomorrow at Bhutan Cricket office.
The main reason for the club registration is to let the club manage their own standard of playing, the clubs which will be registered with the Bhutan cricket Board will be provided with facilities such as cricket gears and provided them with a local coach to train them in weekly basic.
With the Introduction of the clubs, tournament will be hosted every years for different club level and the A Grade clubs to challenge in the Super League series, junior tournament for the clubs will also be organized to strengthen the base.
A News report from Coaching department said that clubs plays an integral part in terms of identifying talented cricketer and development of cricket at juniors level. The registered clubs to have junior team for various level and participate in the Tournament. The coaching department have come up with plans and by the first week of march when the school reopen, school teacher and student will be educated with basic coaching and umpiring through conducting various workshop in four target District of Paro, Phuntsholing, Gelephu and Thimphu.
It would be an challenging for the clubs management to develop the base in the beginning but as they work on improving and the changes taking place, the clubs would be the back bone for the Bhutan Cricket where they can provide players for the Bhutan.
