The Last Shangrila Cup 2007

The Last Shangril-la Cup 2007 will mark the first ever international tournament to be played in the country as two team from neighboring country India will be participating in the events. The Tournament is hosted by Bhutan Cricket and will be played in Gelephu Sports Association Ground. The participating teams are from Jaipur (Rajastan), Assam 11, Thimphu 11 and Sarpang 11, the team are classified under-19 age category.

The Tournament begins on 7th July and ends on 15. Each team will play against each other and the top two Teams based on points and net run will contest in the final. The scheduled Match Stats are:

7th July 2007   : Sarpang XI vs Assam XI
8th July 2007   : Thimphu XI vs Jaipur
9th July 2007   :    Rest Day
10th July 2007 : Jaipur vs Assam XI
11th July 2007 : Thimphu XI vs Sarpang XI
12th July 2007 : Thimphu XI vs Assam XI
13th July 2007 :  Sarpang XI vs Jaipur
14th July 2007 :      Rest Day
15th July 2007 :       Final      

 The main aim of the tournament is to involve the youths, organized wholly for the youths and also for the promotion of Cricket in Bhutan and its districts.
