Afghansistan Knock Bhutan out
Saturday, November 5th, 2011Afghanistan thrashed Bhutan by 225 runs on the fourth day of the ongoing SAARC twenty20 held at Favahmulah cricket ground, Maldives. Choosing to bat first after winning the toss, Afghans set the second highest run of the tournament with 295. They earlier scored 313 against the Maldives.
Medium pacer Sonam Tobgay was the pick of the bowlers for Bhutan with four wickets while Kencho Norbu picked two. Bhutan dropped four easy catches and another three or four half chances, had they held on to four easy catches, Afghanistan would have been restricted below 180 runs.
