Bhutan lost to Nepal in Final

Bhutan lost to Nepal in the final of the ACC U-19 Championship by 5 wickets played at IA cricket ground in Singapore on Today.

Nepal won the toss and elected to field in the match reduced to 20 overs due to rain. Bhutan manage to make 53 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs, Yeshey Choden and Choening Tenzin could manage to cross double figure of 14 and 13 runs respectively. In reply Nepal made 54 for 5 in 17.2 overs.

“We are proud of the ways our girl perform during the U-19 Women Championship and this truly shows that we are not lacking at talent at even at minimal facilities, they have shown tremendous character to reach the final and give a experienced team like Nepal ad tough fight” said Jigme N Norbu CEO of Bhutan Cricket.

Bhutanese women’s cricket defeated Hong Kong by 7 wickets today to reach the final of the ACC U-19 Women’s Championship 2010, Bhutan will face Himalayan neighbor Nepal in the Final tomorrow.

Bhutan Entered Semi Final of ACC U-19 Women’s Championship 2010

Bhutanese U19 Women’s National team entered in the Semi Final of the ACC U-19 Women’s Championship after crushing Thailand by 86 runs and continued it’s winning streak to four win from four match. Bhutan’s last game is on Sunday against China.

Match # 4 : Bhutan vs Thailand at IA. Bhutan won the toss and elected to bat. Bhutan: 117 for 6 in 25 overs. Thailand: 30 all out in 15 overs. Result: Bhutan won by 86 runs.

Match # 3 : Bhutan vs Oman at CSC. Bhutan won the toss and elected to bat. Bhutan: 95 for 4 in 25 overs. Oman: 46 all out in 23.2 overs. Result: Bhutan won by 49 runs.
