ACC Under-19 Elite Cup 2009 Fixture
Bhutan has been group along side Afghanastan, UAE, Qatar and Oman in the up coming ACC Under-19 Elite Cup 2009 to be held in Kuwait, this is the first time Bhutan will be participating in the Elite Division after qualifying from the last year Challenge Cup along with Saudi Arabia.
The Young Bhutanese team has been going through an Intensive Training program held in Thimphu and confident of a big upset in the tournament. “The boys are working very hard to win and qualify for the Under-19 World Cup to be held in Kenye in 2010″ which will boost the moral of cricket development in the tiny himalaya country.
